The tragic news of Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson's death in a car crash is a significant loss. Jackson, 24, was among three people who died in a three-car crash in Prince George’s County, Maryland, as confirmed by Maryland State Police.

The Vikings expressed their grief in a statement, mentioning that they had communicated with Jackson's family and are devastated by the news. Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah shared his heartbreak over the loss, noting Jackson's resilience and the goals he aimed to achieve both professionally and personally.



Jackson was drafted by the Vikings in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. His college career included two years at Alabama and a final season at Oregon, where he was a starting cornerback. Oregon head football coach Dan Lanning paid tribute to Jackson on social media, remembering him as a great player and an even better person.
